We are seeking individuals who have worked in an industrial/service/sales environment to fill the position of Branch Service Support Assistant for our Houston location.

Job Description

Primary job responsibilities are to:

  1. Support service technicians and managers with installations, service and repair as needed.

  2. Follow-up with customers on recommended service needs via phone, email and in person.

  3. Support material management activities at the branch including sourcing, shipping, receiving and returning of parts and rental equipment.

Job performance is measured by:

  1. Ability to support field service needs.

  2. Service notification accuracy.

  3. Timeliness of customer follow-up via phone, email and in person.

  4. Timely receipt and return of service parts.

  5. Timely purchase order request and completion.

  6. Consistent communication with National Service on job status and completion.

  7. Cleanliness and organization of warehouse, shop and dock area.

  8. Detailed and timely completion of timesheets and expense reports.

Responsible for learning and following all applicable procedures and work instructions relating to the Company's quality and environmental system.

Performs all other duties assigned by the Manager.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate’s background will include:

  • High school diploma.

  • Minimum two years work experience.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Good verbal skills for phone and customer interaction.

  • Good driving record.

  • Forklift training.

  • Good communication/phone skills required.

  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Google Suites.

  • SAP experience preferred.

  • Regular physical attendance at the worksite.
