Job Description

We are seeking individuals who have an interest in technical problem solving, 3D modeling, and project management to fill the position of Product Support Specialist for our Fredericksburg location. The Engineered Solutions team plays a key role in designing and developing Kaeser’s line of packaged compressed air systems. Come work with this highly skilled and motivated team to create tomorrow’s compressed air stations! This is an entry level position.

Duties include:

  • Creating drawings, service documents, bills of materials, assembly workflows, and test plans

  • Designing packages from the ground up using CAD modeling software

  • Researching and validating new design concepts

  • Working with assembly team to resolve choke points in production and streamline the efficiency of current and future builds

  • Working with external partners to ensure quality and on-time delivery of the product line

  • Collaborating with teammates and various departments to develop solutions for customer RFQs

  • Working with senior personnel for on-the-job training

Qualifications & Skills

The successful candidate’s background will include:

  • Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, assembly, construction, or design (recommended).

  • Experience with professional estimation and vendor communication (recommended).

  • Experience with CAD / 3D Modeling / drafting (recommended).

  • General technical and business experience to include data analysis and project management skills (recommended).

  • Ability to proficiently write and/or edit technical documents (required).

  • High School Diploma (required); Technical / Engineering, certificate, or related work experience (recommended).

This position can be Full Time or Part Time. We offer full benefits packages to Full Time employees, to include Medical, Dental, 401k matching and profit sharing.
